About Parasite Coffee
我們是一間夜間限定的咖啡廳，之所以取名叫「寄生」，是參考了法國哲學家米歇爾・塞荷（Michel Serres）對於「寄生」的觀點。我們更希望寄生不是單方面的掠奪，而是一種共生的創造——寄生者依附既有的空間與節奏，卻也為它帶來意想不到的新生命。寄生咖啡正是這樣存在的：白天，這裡是一間早午餐店；入夜後，我們接手同一個空間，把它變成士林巷弄裡的深夜第三空間——不是家，不是公司，是下班後你可以真正做自己的地方。
We're a night-only café. The name "Parasite" comes from French philosopher Michel Serres' take on parasitism — we like to think of it not as one-sided taking, but as a symbiotic creation: the parasite depends on an existing space and rhythm, yet brings it unexpected new life. That's exactly what Parasite Coffee is. By day, this is a brunch café; after dark, we take over the same space and turn it into a late-night third place tucked in a Shilin alley — not home, not work, but somewhere you can truly be yourself after hours.

What's the minimum spend? Is there a time limit?
Minimum spend is one drink per person for dine-in. No time limit as long as we're not full!
適合工作嗎？有插座嗎？店內的空間配置如何？
我們的一樓是明亮且寬敞的設定，桌椅高度夠高，非常適合工作讀書；地下室則是昏暗溫暖的燈光設定，適合在沙發上聊天、發呆。每個位置都有插座，或是可以拉延長線過去喲！
Is it good for working? Are there outlets? What's the layout like?
Our 1st floor is bright and spacious with comfortably high tables and chairs — great for work and studying. The basement has warm, dim lighting, perfect for chatting or zoning out on the sofas. Every seat has an outlet nearby, and we've got extension cords too!
店內必點的招牌是甚麼？特色是什麼？
我們的必點招牌是抹茶奶蓋系列，是使用鮮奶油+鮮奶打發製成，微甜中帶一點鹹，搭配椰子水清爽而不膩口、搭配鮮奶則濃郁純香。此外，我們的康普茶是自家釀製，具有天然的酸甜與氣泡感，還會有一層綿密的泡沫。
What's your must-try signature drink?
Our signature is the Matcha Cream Top series — whipped cream and fresh milk foam with a light sweet-salty balance. Paired with coconut water it's refreshing and light; paired with fresh milk it's smooth and full-bodied. Our kombucha is also house-brewed, with natural tartness, sweetness, and a fine, fizzy foam.

What kind of events do you run?
Parasite Coffee is run by a team who loves organizing events, so we treat this space as a vessel for all kinds of possibilities. We hold themed events regularly and team up with outside groups for fun collaborations — check the Events tab and come join us!

租借規範Rental Policies
人數與清潔費
人數計算含租借方人員。B1：15人（含）以內不加價，16–20人加收一次性$400清潔費。全店包場：30人（含）以內不加價，30–35人加收一次性$500清潔費。
Headcount & cleaning fee
Headcount includes the organizer's own staff. B1: no extra charge up to 15; 16–20 adds a one-time $400 cleaning fee. Whole café: no extra charge up to 30; 30–35 adds a one-time $500 cleaning fee.
訂金與取消
預定後3日內支付總額50%訂金，尾款當日結清。30天前取消退100%訂金；14–30天內退50%；14天內取消不予退費。
Deposit & cancellation
50% deposit due within 3 days of booking; balance settled on the day. Cancel 30+ days out: 100% refund. 14–30 days out: 50%. Within 14 days: no refund.
進撤場
提供15分鐘進撤場緩衝時間，超過按0.5小時計費。
Setup & teardown
15-minute buffer included; overages billed in half-hour increments.
音量與相鄰
23:00後請降至一般對話音量，並避免於店外門口交談。
Noise
After 11 PM, please keep to normal conversation volume and avoid chatting right outside the door.

Decor
Only items that are easy to remove and won't damage the space.

嘔吐於垃圾袋／馬桶以外，酌收$2000清潔費；室內吸菸罰則$10000。
Other
Vomiting outside a trash bag/toilet incurs a $2000 cleaning fee; smoking indoors incurs a $10,000 penalty.
